Cancellation Policy
1. Safety Requirements All participants must follow instructor guidance at all times. Suitable closed‑toe footwear is required; no sandals or open shoes. Gloves are recommended for handling. No approaching, touching, or leading any horse without explicit permission. Participants must remain in designated areas and avoid sudden movements or loud behaviour around horses. 2. Behaviour & Yard Conduct Respect for horses, staff, and other visitors is essential. No shouting, running, or disruptive behaviour. Children must be supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted unless agreed in advance and kept on a lead. Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere on the premises. 3. Horse Welfare Horse welfare is the priority. The instructor may modify or stop any activity if a horse shows stress, discomfort, or behavioural concern. Participants must use calm, kind handling techniques and avoid any forceful or inappropriate behaviour. 4. Workshop Structure & Punctuality Workshops begin and end at the scheduled time. Participants should arrive 10 minutes early for introductions and safety briefing. Late arrivals may miss essential information and may not be permitted to join the session. 5. Cancellations & Refunds A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations or no‑shows are charged in full. Workshops cancelled by the instructor due to weather, welfare, or emergencies will be refunded or rescheduled. 6. Payment Policy Payment is due at booking unless otherwise agreed. Group bookings or special workshops may require full payment in advance. Outstanding balances must be settled before attending further sessions. 7. Participant Health & Fitness Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect safe involvement. The instructor may refuse participation if someone appears unfit, impaired, or unsafe to handle horses. 8. Weather Policy Workshops may continue in light rain. Severe weather (storms, high winds, extreme heat) may result in cancellation or a modified session. Indoor or theory‑based alternatives may be offered when appropriate. 9. Photography & Media Photos or videos must not be shared publicly without permission from the instructor and anyone featured. The instructor may take photos for promotional use only with prior consent. 10. Liability Participants attend at their own risk. The yard accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence. Personal insurance is recommended.
