Suitable footwear with a small heel is required; no trainers or open‑toe shoes. Gloves and body protectors are recommended and may be required for jumping or young riders. No handling or riding horses without the instructor’s permission. All instructions must be followed immediately for safety. 2. Behaviour & Yard Conduct Treat horses, staff, and clients with respect. No shouting, running, or sudden movements. Children must be supervised. Dogs only with permission and on a lead. Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the premises. 3. Riders must not use harsh aids or unsafe behaviour. 4. Lesson Structure & Punctuality Arrive 10–15 minutes early for preparation. Lessons start and finish at the scheduled time; late arrival does not extend the session. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation with full fee charged. 5. Cancellations & Refunds A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required. Late cancellations or no‑shows are charged in full. Lessons cancelled by the instructor (weather, welfare, emergencies) will be refunded or rescheduled. 6. Payment Policy Payment is due at booking unless agreed otherwise. Block bookings must be used within the stated timeframe and are non‑refundable. Outstanding balances must be cleared before further lessons can be booked. 7. Rider Health & Fitness Riders must disclose medical conditions affecting safety. The instructor may refuse participation if a rider appears unfit, impaired, or unsafe. 8. Weather Policy Lessons may continue in light rain. Severe weather (storms, high winds, extreme heat) may lead to cancellation or a modified session. Groundwork or indoor alternatives may be offered when appropriate. 10. Liability Riders participate at their own risk. Riders are encouraged to hold personal insurance. Agreement Booking a lesson confirms the client has read and agrees to this policy in full as stated in the full policy available in your member area.
